A cocktail is a style of mixed drink. Originally a mixture of distilled spirits, sugars, water, and bittersb, the word has gradually come to mean almost any mixed drink containing alcohol. A cocktail today usually contains one or more types of liquor and flavorings and one or more liqueurs, fruit juices, sugar, honey, water, ice, soda, milk, cream, herbs, bitters, etc.

Cocktails are made with gin, whiskey, rum, and especially vodka. Many cocktails traditionally made with gin, such as the gimlet, or the martini, or Collins are now made with vodka.Romantic Road

This time i want to introduce the Scorpion, i still remembered the time while i worked in a Bar. But nobody order this kind of Cocktail, so i never got a chance to learn how to make it.

SCORPION

The Scorpion is one of those popular tropical rum drinks that taste great and pack an intoxicating punch. This potent cocktail is made of both light and dark rums, brandy and triple sec, with the bonus flavoring of orange juice (freshly squeezed is best). This drink will make a splash at any summer celebration or anytime you feel like escaping to the tropics.
Ingredients:
juice of half a lime
1 1/2 oz orange juice
3/4 oz brandy
3/4 oz light rum
3/4 oz dark rum
1/4 oz triple sec
lime wedge for garnish
Preparation:
Squeeze the lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Add all of the other ingredients.
Shake Well.
Strain into a highball glass with ice cubes.
Garnish with the lime wedge.
